This Privacy Policy describes how Golfed LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Golfed mobile application and related services ("the App").

Information We Collect

When you use Golfed, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: name, email address, username, profile photo, city and state, golf handicap
• Gameplay data: courses played, scores, dates, notes, bucket list, badges earned, prestige score
• Location data (with your permission): used to surface nearby courses
• Device data: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs
• Payment data: handled directly by Apple App Store and Google Play; we do not store payment card information

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the App, including: account creation and authentication, displaying your gameplay history and statistics, generating leaderboards and badges, sending notifications you've opted into, processing in-app purchases, and responding to support requests.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the App, including:

• Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, and analytics
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• Apple and Google for in-app purchases

Profile information you choose to make visible (your name, photo, prestige score, courses played, badges) may be displayed to other Golfed users in leaderboards, friend feeds, and group features.

Your Choices

You can review, update, or delete your account information at any time in the App's Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

Golfed is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at pete@golfedapp.com.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by sending you a notification in the App.
